Moray Training

The first training session of the 2018/2019 academic year saw us at Moray College for a Structures, Mechanism and Basic Electrics course where we joined by 15 schools who were all partnered with Engineers from SWECO and Mott MacDonald.  Our theme for the day was ‘Space’ which linked into our very exciting news of the female astronaut from NASA that we had secured to take part in our online presentation later in the month.  Teachers loved getting creative and it was great seeing the two professions working together to create their two models.

SWECO funded the course in Moray and Jarrad Webb, Senior Engineer commented that “It was very well planned, organised and delivered. From a no knowledge start everyone was able to complete the tasks and provide solutions that worked.”

It’s great to have our celebration event secured for the middle of March STEM week and we look forward to seeing all the designs the pupils bring to our first celebration event of the year.
