Explore the depths of the ocean and the vastness of space with this brand-new programme from Primary Engineer

We have fully funded places for 15 primary schools to take part in our exclusive pilot ‘Deep Sea Deep Space’.

This programme will provide STEM-based professional development for 2 teachers from your school. Teachers will be invited to a full day of hands-on training, providing them with the skills to take the programme into the classroom. Every teacher will be provided with a full kit of curriculum mapped resources that will allow an entire class to learn about the depths of the ocean and wonders of space.

There will be physical training near our Burnley headquarters, with pupils coming together for a joint school Celebration Event in early 2025.

  • Please read our Terms & Conditions All Primary Engineer resources are copyright and site licensed to schools registered with Primary Engineer. It is prohibited to use with any school not registered with Primary Engineer.
  • Cancellation: Primary Engineer offer free to schools programmes through funding from our partner organisations. Training is available for up to any two teachers from the school. If no teacher from your school is able to attend your booked training session you must notify Primary Engineer to arrange for it to be altered no later than 48 hours before your course date. Failure to do this or non-attendance of training will be chargeable to the school at a rate of £45 per re-booking. Additionally, the cost of returning the free resources provided will also be borne by the school. Involvement in the programme requires completion of all aspects of the course including pre and post evaluations and attending a celebration event. Schools may be subject to further costs if they fail to attend the celebration event or don't complete the course.
