How it works
- Do you know a teacher?
- Nominate them by filling out the form below. Once signed up they will unlock access to curriculum-mapped teaching resources, lesson plans, links to engineers plus every pupil is celebrated with a personalised graded certificate (what’s not to love!).
- We will then get in touch with them and help bring engineering into their classroom
Who can I nominate?
The Leaders Award competition is fully-funded for all UK schools and home educated groups, just simply refer a teacher and we’ll do the rest!
Can I nominate a few different teachers?
Yes, go for it!
What does the competition involve?
Our competition runs annually and asks pupils aged 3-19 the question ‘If you were an engineer, what would you do?’. All pupils are given the chance to interview an engineer and are then inspired to follow their lead by identifying a problem in the world to come up with a creative solution to that problem. All competition entries are read and graded by real engineers with every pupil being recognised with a personalised named and graded certificate.
I'm a teacher, should I nominate myself or a colleague?
Amazing to hear you’re interested! Teachers can register themselves directly on our competition website.
Nominate a teacher you know so their class can take part in our National STEM competition.
Share the love for engineering today!
